Mastercard Central European Fintech Forum – Berlin
In October 2024, PayEye took part in the Mastercard Central European Fintech Forum in Berlin, a two-day gathering of more than 400 fintech leaders, banks, regulators, and innovators from across Europe. With over 50 sessions, the forum explored key themes such as AI-driven banking, embedded finance, and new regulatory frameworks. Among the highlights were visionary talks by futurist Brett King and executives from N26, who shared insights on the rapid evolution of digital banking. PayEye contributed by presenting its fusion biometric “one look payment” solution, which attracted significant interest as an example of how cutting-edge biometrics can redefine security and customer convenience in everyday transactions.
Just one day later, PayEye was present at the Mastercard Innovation Forum in Athens, held at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center under the theme “Innovating the Future Together.” The event brought together decision-makers from across the financial ecosystem to discuss how AI, sustainability, and digital transformation are shaping the payments industry. The program featured government officials, economists, and innovators, including an inspiring keynote by Dr. Bertrand Piccard of the Solar Impulse Foundation. In this dynamic context, PayEye showcased its biometric payment technology, underlining how fusion biometrics can seamlessly transform the shopping experience while ensuring top-level security.

Il Salone dei Pagamenti – Payvolution 24 – Milan
In November 2024, PayEye joined Il Salone dei Pagamenti – Payvolution 24 in Milan, Italy’s largest event dedicated to payment innovations. Organized by the Italian Banking Association (ABI) and ABIServizi, the conference welcomed thousands of professionals from banks, fintechs, and technology providers. Within the Mastercard Demo Area, PayEye demonstrated its “one look payment” solution, combining iris and face recognition for maximum convenience and security. The live demo sparked great interest and positioned PayEye as one of the standout innovators at the event.
Earlier in 2024, PayEye played a leading role in the Mastercard Biometric Checkout Program – the first pilot of its kind in Europe. Launched in partnership with Mastercard and Empik, the program allowed customers in selected Empik stores in Poland to pay simply with a glance, using PayEye’s proprietary fusion biometric technology. The pilot generated thousands of transactions, excellent customer satisfaction scores, and widespread media attention. This success demonstrated not only the readiness of consumers to embrace biometric payments, but also Mastercard’s and PayEye’s shared commitment to building the future of secure, seamless checkout experiences.
